Eva Norström, PhD - Researcher  

Doctoral dissertation in Swedish with English summary, 331 p.: ”I väntan på asyl – retorik och praktik i svensk flyktingpolitik” (Waiting for asylum. Rhetoric and practice in Swedish refugee policy.) (Boréa), the Department of European Ethnology (now the Department of Arts and Sciences, the Division of Ethnology with the Folk Life Archives), Lund University, 2004. 

Worked for many years as assistant professor at the Department of European Ethnology at Lund University

Has realised project evaluations in Sweden, Turkey, former Yugoslavia, Malawi and Zimbabwe 

Has managed training courses in refugee issues in Sweden, Lithuania and Rumania

Former Director of the Immigrant Bureau, Hässleholm

Started teaching asylum seeking children as early as 1977

Former chairman of the Swedish Refugee Council and former vice president of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network, EMHRN. These capacities also involved several evaluation missions.


Kristina Gustafsson, PhD - Researcher   

Doctoral dissertation in Swedish, 242 p.: ”Muslimsk skola, svenska villkor. Identitet, konflikt och förhandling” (Muslim school on Swedish conditions. Conflict, Identity and Negotiation), the Department of Ethnology (now the Department of Arts and Sciences, the Division of Ethnology with the Folk Life Archives), Lund University, 2004.

Has worked with research and teaching within the fields of integration, migration, fundamental values and cultural diversity

Places of work from 1996 until today: the Department of Ethnology at Lund University, the Teacher Education at Malmö University and Halmstad University

2006-2008 member and chairman of the board of Imerförbundet (international migration and ethnic relations) 




Ingrid Fioretos, PhD - Researcher  


Doctoral dissertation in Swedish: ”Möten med motstånd. Kultur, klass, kropp på vårdcentralen" (Encounters of exclusion. Culture, class, body at the Health Care Centre), the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences, the Division of Ethnology with the Folk Life Archives, Lund University, 2009.



Since many years a teacher and researcher within the field of cultural diversity at Lund University









Anna Norberg - Project Assistant  


Administrates the website and Pärmen.se (administrative tool) and assists the researchers with miscellaneous tasks


Has worked as project evaluator, journalist, executive assistant, project secretary/administrator and translator/interpreter in Sweden, France and Algeria


Journalist degree, a BS (Chinese and French) and an international academic secretarial degree
